The real Cossack must always temper his body and will, should study the ancient exercises, and should acquire the historic Cossack weapons such as spear, sword, saber, whip “nogayka”,  bow, knife, etc. and techniques of martial arts and self defence.

 The conducting of the appropriate competitions and demonstration performances (based on the "Dragon" Martial Art) is usually made together with the tournament on raising weights, arm - wrestling and horse races. All these create the necessary base for the large competitions - Cossack Games. It is a real Cossack feast with songs, dancing, sports entertaining programs, with team competitions of tug-of-war and other Cossack force entertainment.
