STATUTE
of a Cossack games IUCF
from 15.07 to 25.07.2010 in Poltava (Ukraine)

 
 
Time and place:
Poltava, from15.07 to 25.07.2010 (11 days)
- In the sports complex of Dragon "(Poltava, st. Kuibysheva 20-a) - competition in martial arts and health systems
- In the State Agricultural Academy will held a competition of lifting weights, archery, javelin at a target.
- In the historical, cultural center “Khutor Bliz Dikanka” – hours riding competitions, the festival with singing, dancing, sports entertainment programs, with team competitions on the waist rope and other Cossack force entertainment.
                                                                                                                            
1. Main aim of the Cossack games:
    The revival of Cossack culture and physical education, the promoting of healthy lifestyles and Cossack ideas among the general population - children, adults and sports families, improvement sports skills of the Cossacks, the strengthening of friendship among the Cossacks of different countries and regions.

2. The governing of holding of Cossack games:
    General management of Cossack games is made by the International Union of Cossack Forces; martial arts competitions and other competitive programs (except horse racing)  are served by the judging panel of the International Federation of the Dragon, equestrian competition served as instructors of Poltava (Chutovskogo racetrack), cultural programs, lectures, talks about the history and physical preparation of the Cossacks, guided the participants conducted by scientists of the Military - Department of Cossacks of the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences

3. The members of Cossack Games:
The program of the Cossack games involves the teams of Cossack organizations of Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Germany, which will hold qualifiers for all programs Cossack games and give the impressions of the competition - the organizing committee games. Declare their participation should be done before 15.06.2010, to apply for participation with the composition of the team (medical allowances for each participant must be dated no more than 10 days prior to the competition and served on the team's arrival). The composition of each team should consist of 15 athletes - Cossacks, 5 girls- Cossacks (age 18 years and older) and a coach representative. The Organizing Committee provides an invitation to the teams, the level of which corresponds to the level of competition.

4.The programme of the Cossack games includes:
- Competition in martial arts and health systems is produced under competition rules, approved by the International Federation of the Dragon "and the Ukrainian Ministry for Family, Youth and Sports (registration number 12504).
 The programme of the Cossack games includes:
- Possession of mock-historical Cossack bladed weapons (sword, saber, whip, spear), shows of the teams, athletes and sports families - every day from 16.07. PM on 25.07.2010 (from 10.00 to 13.30); Team: 10 boys, 3 girls
- Competitions in archery using a target diameter of 50 cm (approx. 35 meters), in using javelin to the target diameter of 50 cm (30 meters), 5 attempts to set-off are the 3 best. (18.07, 21.07.2010 from 15.00 to 17.30); Team: 2 boys, 1 girl
- Competition in equestrian competitions, the tug-of-war, and sports show program: 17.07, 20.07, 24.07.2010, with 15.30 to 19.30; the team: 3 boys, 1 girl
. Arrival of participants: 15.07.2010 till 12.00 PM and the opening of the tournament 15.07.2010, at 14.00
- Cultural programs, lectures, talks about the history and physical preparation of Cossacks, excursions to historical places of Poltava region with the participants (16.07, 19.07, 22.07 to 16.00 do19.00)
25/07/2010 - from 10.00 to 14.00 and the final competition show of teams, awarding ceremony, closing ceremony Cossack games and departure of participants

5.Financial support of the Cossack games:
All tournament participants are provided with meals, accommodation, cultural programs, souvenirs, and the winners prizes - at the expense of the organizers and sponsors; the travel  of the participants to Poltava and return home - at the expense of sending organizations.

6. Awarding of the winners:
Winners are awarded by official diplomas, medals and prizes, all participants - souvenirs.
